Range and Development
Edit
Development
Edit
Developing a nuclear weapon costs one action point , and also requires a certain level of progress before such option becomes available.
Range
Edit
There are four categories for a state in the nuclear scale, which can be found out in the world map:
- None: The state has no nuclear weapons currently active.
- Short distance: The state has short range weapons, which can be used to attack neighboring states. A south american country could attack another south american country, for example.
- Medium distance: The state has medium range weapons, which can be used to attack states at a moderate distance. For example, a south american country could attack a north american or african country.
- Long distance: The state has long range nuclear weapons. This means that the attack can reach any place in the world; for example, a south american state could attack an asian state, or an oceanic state could attack a north american state.
Consequences
Edit
Nuclear weapons have a negative effect on both the attacker and the target. The environment of the target, the targets region and the whole world will seriously suffer, as well as an important portion of the economy and the population.
For the attacker, it's international reputation will be greatly reduced, and may even drop to a negative value, decreasing the negative effects that would normally come with another player attacking you, making it a more enticing prospect.
